The Galaxy Mega line of tablet phones (or “phablets”) was introduced in June 2013, initially in a 6.3” screen configuration with a 5.8” version was subsequently released. The Mega 2 arrived in September 2014 sporting a 6” screen and a range of enhancements including a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, face detection, and increased screen pixel density.
