The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 arrived in September 2017, almost a year after Samsung discontinued the Note 7 due to battery issues. The tablet phone (“phablet”) includes the first dual-lens rear camera for Samsung, featuring 12 megapixel wide-angle and telephoto lenses. The Galaxy Note 8 also removes all mechanical buttons and scanners from the front of the device for a full-screen “infinity” experience.
