Samsung’s Galaxy S5 was released in April 2014 in 150 countries. Major updates included IP67 rated water resistance, a fingerprint scanner for security, and a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera that added support for 4K video recording. The Galaxy S5 also added a mircoUSB 3.0 port for I/O.
