The Samsung Galaxy S8+ and its smaller sibling the Galaxy S8 added an iris and face scanner for additional security while keeping the fingerprint scanner, moving it to the rear of the phone. MicroUSB was replaced by USB-C, and both phones have the curved glass feature that was previously only available on the “Edge” devices.
