Announced in October 2012, Apple’s iPad Mini 2 was the first iPad Mini to make use of the Retina display, with 2048×1536 pixels at 326 pixels per inch. Using the same A7 processor as the iPad Air, the iPad Mini 2 added an upper storage range of 128GB while retaining the camera specs of the original iPad Mini (5 mp 1080p HD rear, 1.2 mp 720p front).
