The iPad Mini 4 was introduced in September 2015 with a range of storage sizes; only the 128 GB model remains in production in Fall 2017. The rear-facing camera was updated to 8 megapixels and the device added a barometer for altitude calculations. The iPad Mini 4 also upgraded the system processor to the A8 chip along with upping the Bluetooth spec to 4.2.
