About the iPhone SE

The iPhone SE was released outside of Apple’s normal autumn cycle in March 2016 as a low-cost replacement for the iPhone 5c line. The form factor is similar to the iPhone 5s, sporting a 4-inch screen but with Apple’s A9 processor inside. While the rear-facing camera supports 12 megapixels, the front-facing camera is only 1.2 megapixels, a step down from other recent iPhones.
