Google announced the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones in October 2016, their first smartphone developed and produced in-house. Both phones have a 12 megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixel front camera, and both are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The main differences are screen size (Pixel – 5”; Pixel XL – 5.5”) and battery (Pixel 2770 mAh; Pixel XL – 3450 mAh).
